I made one last trip to a local dahlia farm yesterday and was able to salvage a few blooms from the closing season. I've been intrigued with the possible results when shooting macro and stacking the images. This flower is the result of 18 stacked images using a rail and then processed thru Helicon Soft. The stacked image was then tweaked in LR2, CS4 and NIK's suite.

Craig, I love the lighting and more importantly, the detail. Impressive work, and incredible DOF. A great demonstration of what Helicon Soft can do.

Gorgeous image, Craig. I love the colors of the flower and the dark background really makes the image pop. Nice job!

Nice detail, that stacking images is pretty neat stuff.
