Yellow Creek, Humbug Valley
Fall on Yellow Creek in Humbug Valley, near Lake Almanor. Your comments about any aspect of the image would be appreciated. Randall

I like this, Randal, but you migh consider a couple of ides. First, clone out the fence posts. Second: Consider a crop from the bottom to just below the reddish part of the reflection on the left. I think this would capitialize on the nice light.

Preston: I agree that the old fence post was a distraction, especially since it was in the top center area. I cloned it and the smaller, more distant posts out. I had trouble finding a crop spot along the bottom of the photo; putting it where you suggested left me feeling as if the bottom right was cut off, and not taken into account in the composition. Your thoughts on this revision would be appreciated. Randall

Second image looks good. Nice color in the sky and surrounding foliage.
