Do the Individual Gallery pictures get removed after a certain amount? Several of my pics are no longer there.

When you upload the picture, if you check to put it in you gallery, it will stay. Otherwise it will disappear after 35 days.

Unless you click "Check this box to include photo in your gallery" either when you are uploading the image or check that box before 35 days is up (by clicking edit on that thumbnail) the image drops off unless it is in Photographers or Environmental Photo Journalism, those two hang around forever. That may be why I don't post often in EPJ because the gallery size is limited to I believe 144 images and if they are counted in that 144 images allowed it wouldn't be long before I wouldn't have space for my bird photos. I could be wrong in that they don't count towards the maximum allowable gallery images, maybe Jim Erhardt can clear that up. I do know I am unable to remove the EPJ images from my gallery though.
But if you want the image to stay permanently in your gallery for the other forums you have to check "Check this box to include photo in your gallery"

All kidding aside, Mia nailed it. When we began the EFJ gallery I excluded the gallery from the 35 day auto-deletion script to help it get rolling. That is no longer the case and photos posted there will now be subject to auto-deletion unless (1) the photo is picked as a WP or (2) the member selects the photo for their gallery. The script will run tonight and delete all photos older than 35 days from the EPJ gallery - and your personal galleries.
Also, we are increasing the personal gallery size to 250. It will no doubt get raised again in the future.
