We have only got your word for that Steve!

I like the fact that we can see both eyes and there are catchlights in both as well. He is having an inquisitive look at you. Were you wearing that red jacket when you took this?!?! brave...

Good details in the shadows and highlights.

I dont do many head shots but I wonder if the head should be more to the left? The left hand 20% of the image doesn't add much IMHO and he is a bit tight on the RHS.

Cheers

I agree with Austin about a little more space on the right. Other than that, I think the black and white treatment works well here.

Hello Stephen.

Lovely portrait and very nice detail. I think the B/W treatment as worked beautifully.

LOL Austin, no just my Aspira one, the Expedition parka only comes to Canada each year, it blends in well in the winter months. Sadly that is FF, but could easily add some extra canvas if required.

Thanks david & Guy, actually the B/W is a duotone, quite subtle, but more effective than a B/W. If you want the workflow that's easy just let me know. Austin, Denise is going to do this in her OOTB Forum too.

The duotone processing does work nicely here Steve. I would agree about a bit more space on the right but no big deal.

Hi Steve the B/W works well for me, but he's not a happy chappy.

The duotone presents a nice strong image I feel. Agree about a little more room on the RHS but no big deal Steve.
