A nice enough image Robert, comp works, but the light patch just to the bird's right is overpowering in my opinion.

Sorry Rob, but have to agree, the yellow halo is just too strong and distracting. Some good detail, but think you have produced better :wavey:

Hi Robert
Not sure if the above comments are referring to the same thing but there is the pale area to the right of the birds head and also a yellow halo around the outline of the bird.
Any way the first doesn't bother me too much and I think the yellow halo may have come from sharpening ? or selective processing ?
Still a nice image. and plenty of time left !
