I met a small caravan coming out of Richland Creek late Saturday morning. I anticipate some great photos. I did go down the creek a ways and tested my Spot Messenger. It worked great. Here is a bit of early color and reflection about high noon.
Jan we were there all morning but must have missed you. Like the color and it looks like the wind quieted down for you while there. We kept having to wait and wait and wait.......ha!

Look like you cropped for composition.
The calm and reflective water makes for good contrast with the rocks and balances the color.

A calming scene. Richand is one of my favorite spots and always seems to be ahead of the rest of the color.
