The colors were sparse in the trees but beautiful reflected in the water.

Spotted these trees while driving down a road I wanted to check out for a future motorcycle ride. The trees were in a pasture with cows and by the time I left, my car was full of flys.....ugh! Had to drive with all the windows down for a while but the fresh cool air was worth it.

One more from Haw Creek, my favorite place of the weekend. Spent all afternoon just enjoying the colors, water and the very nice nice breeze. What a way to get out of the office!

Great work, Dottie, all are really nice, my favorites are #1 and #4. The color in the moon is awesome.
Sorry, I missed you guys this past weekend, but I had family in town. I did get out yesterday at Richland and the colors were still nice.

Thanks guys! That moon really was pink as it rose. Another lady and I just stood there fasinated with it as it came up. Lasted about 4 minutes, then it went behind the clouds and was gone till later in the evening.

Well done, Dottie. I'm glad you were able to get that moon shot. Looks like you found a great scene on the Parthenon road. I like the shot and can only imagine what it will look like once that hillside is in full fall attire.
Enjoyed spending the weekend with you, and thanks for the note about Haw Creek. We were probably going to check it out, but we might have gone elsewhere without your heads up.
