Sorry I missed the group on Saturday but I had family in town but all your reports inspired me to get up early Monday morning and try to catch a few photos before the colors slip away on Richland Creek. Here is a shot that I found interesting not only because of the variations in color but the the crooked limbs that drew me to this shot.
The compression is stripping this photo of its detail, but at least it gives you some idea of the colors that were at creek level on Monday.
I do like those crooked trees Tom. I like the way the rocks line up too.

Beautiful Tom...I bet this does really sing without the compression!

Beautiful image Tom it really shows a great variation of colors that are so beautiful to catch on Richland. I agree the crooked limb really draws your eye also.

Very nice Tom. I like this photograph a lot. Nice crop (or stitch) and the composition makes the two crooked trees a dominate feature.

Thanks for the comments. Ed, it is a crop because it was the only way I could keep it under the 200k maximum. The good news is that I hear the new maximum will be 300K very soon!
