I had about 3 minutes of really good light Friday evening. The sun was shining partly through some clouds as it went behind a hill and everything looked pretty nice for a few minutes. Had a long weekend and this coming weekend doesn't look any different.

I really like this Matt...Great reflection...Lot more color than when we were there a few weeks ago.

Beautiful shot Matt. You really caught a great section of color on the creek. The rocks and water really make the foreground. Nice to see some of your stuff from all your time out.

Great color.
I wonder if darkening the rocks might make for better contrast?

Nice Matt. I agree with Larry on the rocks. At least on my monitor they look a little bland. The color in the trees is great along with the reflection. Nice calm water, something we did not see a lot of over the weekend....ha!

that moss/lichen that grows on the rocks really makes for a challenging exposure. i like how you've used them to pull the eye in and to frame the reflection.

Enjoyed seeing you again Matt. Good leading lines and color in this shot. I wonder if the problem with the rocks is that they are too dominant in the composition. Of course there is not much you could do about that. Perhaps more contrast is the answer like others have suggested? Regardless, I think you did a good job with the scene.
