This is sort of a Hmmm... photo. I was out yesterday trying to do some abstracts of the Washington side of the Gorge across from Rowena. To me, this photo has no focus, or "flow" but I figure it's an area and idea I'll continue to work on.

I do agree this area has some potential. I wouldn't say the image is bad. Maybe just a little bland.

One thing for sure - those jagged pinnacles are quite awesome. This is a very nice find, and I think you are going to create a few wonderful images there. I like the arrangement of shapes - maybe a little more contrast?

Mark, there isn't a whole lot for the eye to grab onto here.
Hey Mark - I agree more contrast is needed. And those rocks really are awesome!! I'd bring in the edge of the image to meet the rocks in the lower left hand corner to match the lower right hand corner. It's just smidgin though.
Those rocks really are cool and worthy of some more work and maybe a fwe more visits at different times of the day eh?

Contrast and "POP" would enhance this a lot - different lighting will also help. I'd definately go back a few more times and refine - maybe find something for a foreground to lead to this ?

I think this scene takes a really good eye to see. I've seen you see and work scenes that would rarely be caught by anyone else. This exact comp is great, but I agree...watch it change in the coming couple of months, then go for the kill...
However, you could pump this up a bunch and see what you get...
