This was the third year in a row that I hiked up to this location in McGee Creek. The first two times were in the afternoon (last year with Steve S. and Mat M.). This was taken shortly after sunrise with the morning sun hitting the ridge behind me. The reflected light added a nice glow to the scene. I had to save this at an image quality of 4, so the compression isn't helping.
Thanks and comments welcome,

Nice color in those Aspens. Looks like a great Fall season up North this year. You might want to correct the magenta color cast - A little to purple for my taste. Maybe a little crop off the bottom might strengthen the emphasis on those wonderful trees. Nice find.

Well composed, Rudy! The colors work well, and
I like the textures and shapes in the FG.
There does appear to be a slight magenta cast, along with a high blue component. This is likely a fairly true represenation given the nature of early light. That said, you might want to back off on the reds and blues just a bit.
I also agree about a crop from the bottom to just above the small tree on the lower right corner.
The trees look very nice, and I also like the textures of the rock in the foreground.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I'll try backing off on the magenta and see how it looks.

Rudy,
As much as I like the geology of the rocky ledge below I find it's competing a little bit too much with the fall color. I would agree with others with a bit of a crop off the bottom and also some magenta color tweaking. Otherwise, a great find, and great color.
Rudy,
Very pleasing fall image. So many times I've driven by the turn off for McGee Creek and always wanted to stop and have a look. Your image is proof I've got to stop one of these times. I like the colors and the cast isn't so troubling, I also like the rock texture in the FG, but have to agree that cropping the FG would make the image stronger. Best Regards.
