Montana Valley
This was taken near Cameron Montana. I was there looking for Moose but did not find any this day, but I loved the colors and reflection in the beaver pond.
Nikon 24-50 at 24mm f14 1/3rd of a sec ISO 280.

Hey Wade, I like the comp. The reflection in the water is a nice touch too....I would recommend some strategic lightening. The clouds look fine, but the mountain and trees are a bit too dark. Normally the reflection would be a tad darker than the real thing, but it's the opposite here. Easily fixed. This has a nice pastoral feeling to it.

I like the composition here Wade. I agree with David that the top half of the image is too dark. Did you use a GND filter here?

I did a little work including a slight crop from the right side. I hope this is better. This was my first attempt with a GND filter and have a learning curve.

I've not used a GND much, since I got into blending fairly early on, but I wonder if kicking the iso down and using a longer shutter speed would allow you to move the GND up and down during the exposure so that it covers the lake for part of the exposure too?
