Arty Farty Trees
Taken in the Cairngorms on a recent trip, accompanied and aided by two very able gents who know who they are - thanks for putting up with my grumpy face :)

1D Mk IV, EF 17-40 f/4 L, 1/6th sec, f/4, ISO 100, 19mm, hand-held with some wobbly movement which I swear was deliberate :)

Looks more like a water colour than a photgraph but I think it works really well. I could live with this on my wall. Would just take me into the realms of fantasy every time I looked at it. :jump: :toast:

Somebody told me years ago that you like impressionistic stuff more and more as you get older.

I must be getting old then as I like this a lot.

I like it a lot. It gives me a bit of a headache if I stare too long but I still really like it John. That diagonal line from lower left to top right makes all the difference here. :toast:

Very different, I like it to see here in this forum.

Thanks everyone, I guess that's a hit then :) I painted the line through the diagonals deliberately and what I like about it myself is the way that the footpath looks just as much like a stream. Other than that, the image is about autumn; colour; and movement, to signify change.
