Nash Point
This is the famous Nash Point on the heritage Coast in South Wales.

I was there early this day waiting for a sunset so decided to get some practice in.

I like the inclusion of the 2 people on the right, they add a sense of scale and also stop one's eye from exiting the right of the image, well, that's the theory anyway

Sony A100 (borrowed off my son)
Sigma 10-20 EX
1/80th second
f8
ISO 100
10mm
Tripod
Cable release

Looks a bit soft in places Goeff

The two folk work just as you intended.

Thanks Andy, you are right of course, I noticed it's not as sharp as I'd like it to be, my processing is letting me down a bit I know, I used to over sharpen everything but I've backed off a bit now, too much maybe

Although with this one I suspect I may have got it wrong at the taking stage, I don't know why I used f8, I usually use f16 and I use manual focus and may have moved the focus ring without noticing while moving around the place, plus if I used a ND grad filter, then that degrades the image too, so many possibilities.

I'm happy with the composition though

Geoff.

agree the image looks a bit soft, though it does look like it's only resizing softness

aside from that very nice image, really like the colours

I like the composition Geoff and the lines formed by the edges of the water. The sky is good as well.

Softness already mentioned.

Cheers

Austin

I agree that it looks to be a bit soft in places

I keep coming back to this - its got all the right ingrediants but for some reason it just doesn't seem to gel properly for me, I think its because the complementary colours of sky and cliff are ever so slighty out of kilter "colour wheel" wise.

In my minds eye I think it may work better as a B&W conversion
