Nice image of a nice bird. What is this Thetford forest? Are there feeders? If can be critical on the image it must be the fact that its rather centered and a bit big in the frame. I would have liked to see a bit more space on the right but still very nice as it is!

Theres something you dont see everyday, would like the bright twig going down from the tail taken out as its distracting but would be pleased to have it myself
What is this Thetford Forest ? Well, it's a big place full of trees
Conifer mainly - but there's some deciduous mixed up in there as well.
I like to look at my maps and find areas where there maybe water (like an oasis in a desert). The Pingo trail is one such area/walk. Pingo's are water filled depressions created via glaciation around 20,000 years ago. Google them for more info. These areas may be useful for photography (as we all know - birds like to drink water too).
As said a touch tight, but a beauty of a bird and a plaesure to see, perhaps tone the bg down a shade, although not that easy and some dislike doing this to their images but it is minor anyway...
Nearly missed this one.
Very attractive portrait.
Only nits are just a bit too big in the frame and the background is a little too busy, but still very nice as it is.
