Moonlight Serenade
This 30 second exposure was made on Sprague Lake in RMNP two weeks ago. I like the quality of the nearly full moon's light reflecting off the lake and grasses but wonder if the significant pine beetle damage at lakeside diminishes this image for you.

5D, 30 sec @ f/13, ISO 400, crop to 60%

Nice image, Wayne. I did not really notice the Pine Beetle damage in the moonlight until you pointed it out. I know that area has been hit hard by the Pine Beetles.

I didn't notice the damage either. Nice sense of depth and, yes, I also like the quality of the reflected moonlight.

It looks like a nice moonlit scene to me Wayne, in that is is not so bright that the beetle kill is noticable. Perhaps at a larger size it would be though. Nice reflection.

Wow, you captured all that detail by moonligt! Who needs the sun anyway.

Nice comp too Wayne.
