Notchtop
This is from a late September sunrise hike to Lake Helene in RMNP. Of course the clouds waited until well after sunrise to show up and the wind never stopped, but I found a small puddle that wasn't moving too much. As always, all comments appreciated.

Jaw-dropping, very well done!

Looks like that puddle was made especially to frame the mountain. Looks great, and 'development' is spot on!
That cloudscape really makes this one sing, too.

Wow. WOW! This is just flat out awesome. I love the FG. Hell, I love the whole thing but the FG is especially cool. It's like a keyhole into nature. :toast:

Easily one of the best Notchtop images I've ever seen, if not THE.

I love that maze of water framing the peak reflection, what a great comp! The foreground pebbles do seem a little intense to me, given the general lighting situation. If it were mine, I think I'd consider subtly burning them down a bit.

Really strong image, Paul. Excellent job of finding this comp. It's good to see some morning clouds there too.

The round pool for the well-centered reflection works very well. Nice composition!

Very good work Paul. The warmth of the reflection contrasts so well with the cool blue stones.
