Bill, I like the fourth the best with its reflection and rock seen in the foreground water. I must have been standing in your footprints today.

Thanks Doug. What a wonderful area to shoot. I gotta get back there.

I was gonna ask if you and Doug were out there together! Nice images Bill..I like the last one best.

Another excellent series. Really like the last two.

Yeah, very similar visions between you two. Nice stuff. #3 reminds me of a tiger's coat.

These are all excellent, Bill. I'm really fond of #3. It's kinda confusing, but in a good way. I have GOT to get to Sedona for fall color in 2011. I feel a road trip comin' on...in a year.

Thanks for the kind words. I like Doug's work so it's flattering to hear a comparison. I think West Fork is one of those places like Mesa Arch where some of the views have holes worn in the rock from so many tripod legs but still it's a wonderful place to shoot. @Bret, I think you're right. A late October road trip to Sedona is definitely in order. Already penciled in on the vacation calendar.

From a landscape perspective, I really like #4, but from a visual impact perspective, I prefer #3. I'll bet that one would be great in B&W. Nice work.

Another fine series from this place!
#3 is especially nice. I was wondering if cropping in from the right a half inch or so and an inch or so from the bottom to create a more tunnel-like and symmetrical appearance would work.

They get better as I scroll. The third one is damn good!

4, 3, 2, 1; not necessarily in that order. Nice series!
