Tom had all the sun!

8 images stitched for an FoV of 274x68 degrees.

BW conversion done to simulate Kodak PanatomicX (showing my age again!) through a deep Yellow filter.

Full rez tiff 12806 - so it all looks a little lost when dropped to 720.

Slightly larger version 1500pixel http://wildlifeinpixels.com/img/10_2010/WIP00118-99_-8-imagesBW.jpg

Hah a plot to make me feel old... I do believe you have succeded in emulating a vintage  B/W emulsion... larger view definately needed here to appreciate this image... only minor nit is that I would have probably liked to have held the exp back a little on the 'stack' (is that correct) on the left hand side just to get a little separation...

Does the larger version look a bit better on the stack now Phil? :toast: :toast:

Excellent Andy.

The larger version look great and I am sure this would make a fine print.

Cheers

that is very nice Andy, it must look fantastic when viewed even larger. I particularly like the moody sky.

Not a landscape man, but the biggie looks good.

Hi Andy, larger version looks great, wouldn't mind seeing a colour version

Large version looks good but in my opinion (for what its worth) I don't think B&W does it justice. :wavey:

Superb shot Andy, trouble with these sort of shots is that the web never does them justice :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Given the light, I'll stick to B&W. It's a tad too dark but then again that was the mood of the afternoon.
Shaun is right panos on this forum tend not to project well; very nicely done.

Hi Andy,

I like the detail in the middle and would like to see more of it. Nice to see a b&w though.
