Golden Rainbow
Hey all! This is a shot from a while back over on Sauvie Island. Just going through my archives for a current project. Any thoughs?

Nikon D70, ISO 200, 18-70mm, cropped, buzz, saturation, etc.

Beth,
The rainbow and the colors are nice. The foreground trees do seem soft to me. Maybe an agressive unsharp mask would work. Try only sharpening the lightness channel in LAB color. 400-500 for the amount 1 for the threshold and 0 radius. I just bought the book on LAB color and it's quite an amazing color space.

The Buzz probably accounts for the appearance of softness. My first thought is more ground to "ground" the image..

I will take another look at the image and try Erik's new processes. Thanks all for commenting. Cheers, Beth
