Last of West Fork
With higher winds forecast this weekend and next week, I went back to West Fork to catch it for the last time this fall. While I went further upstream this time, the images Guy S. posted say that I did not venture far enough. Found a nice group of changing maples, and a few more curved streamsides. Posted one in ESS also.

#3 In one area, a few large slabs of sandstone slipped leaving a couple of large aches in the canyon face. Undecided about cropping just a little off the bottom.

Really like the color in the second image. Very simplistic.

I love that 2nd one. I think a small boost to contrast and brightness would help it pop a bit more.

Paul,
A little boost to B&C and some of John's pop medicine. I am usually conservative in my initial processing, but this seemed to help a bunch. Did the same to improve #1 also.

#2 really rocks, especially your repost! The other 2 are very well done, also. Excellent set.

#2 is superb - both versions.

#1 is nice, but is trumped handily by your post at ES&S.
I like #3, as well. Reminds me of Zion in a way.
#2 (repost) is simply excellent. You have a very good eye for these type of more detailed scenes as evidenced here and in your previous series.
Thanks very much for your suggestions with my last posting. Greatly appreciated!

Liked the #2 repost :toast:

Well, you were getting closer! If I remember that spot in your first shot correctly, that was a couple miles back. I wonder if a little brightness and contrast bump might help that one. I agree with John in that I like your ESS post best. Another nice collection all around.

#2 is awesome!
