Another Wren
It must be the season for wrens popping out into the open! This one visited my feed station on Saturday. I love the way he popped his head out into a shaft of sunlight but may not be to everyones taste.

C & C Welcome.

Canon 50d, Canon 100-400 @400
1/160 F6.3
ISO 250.
Approx 30% Crop.

Hi Scott,

a very nice composition and lovely background

The light on the head is a little harsh though and maybe could be toned down a little.

Thanks for the comments chaps. I've had a go at toning down the wrens head a little. Any preference?

Both shots look the same to me? Very strong lighting.

Hi Neil, possibly coz they are the same  Minor hitch. Hopefully this ones toned down a bit!

Yep it is. I like the dramatic light but I would be tempted to pull the shadows up a wee bit from around the bird just to lessen the contrast a wee bit more more.
