Frozen Nymph
My first visit to nymph lake on Saturday morning.
Though perhaps photographed by a lot of people throughout the year I enjoyed my first visit there.
Thanks for your comments and critique on these.

I agree. The first is my favorite.

You held the extreme dynamic range of light present in all three in pretty good check.
Wish you had lowered the camera a tad in #2 to avoid clipping the rock, and there seems to be a slight counterclockwise rotation in #3.
Minor nits, though.

Very nice! Really like that glow in the second image!

Nice reflected glow off the water and ice in 1&2 for your sunrise there. That shoreline channel works well for th efirst two images. The first is my favorite of the three.
For my suggestions, in #1 I would try to lighten the shadows a little to get some detail in the trees and foreground, and crop off the bottom 1/3 of the foreground grass.
Maybe add 10% to the left of #2 and the bottom of the rock in #2 if you have it in the uncropped file.

Very pretty sunrise you captured here! The colors are wonderful in the first two! The light isolating the peak in #3 is great.
I wonder how #3 would look as a vertical comp of just the right half of the image? The light on the peak and the reflection are the most interesting part of that image.
Well done!

The crop Anne suggested with #3 seems like a good idea.
Perhaps cropping in from the left to the saddle between the two mountains for a square format?

Thanks a lot for your feedback - I will try out the crop for #3 and repost.

Shouldnt it be 'half frozen nymph'...?
Anyhow, real pretty, i especially like #1! Might want to check your histogram, looks like the reds are gettinig clipped a bit in #2. :wavey:

Looks like a great sunrise for you. I also like #1.

Great shots! Only nit I have is with #2. I don't know if it's just my monitor, but the sky looks overcooked - some of the colors are oversaturated.
