Sorry, another Woodpecker!
I now have three woodpeckers visiting my feed station. A female and male and what looks to be a young female. I like the light on this one and was really pleased to get a good look at those amazing feet.

C & C Welcome!

Canon 50d, Canon 100-400 @ 400
F7.1
ISO 250

15-20% crop.

Thanks. Scott

A nice image of a GSW, they are lovely birds and great to watch Scott. I do feel that the eye could use a little brightening though. Only a minor nit, nice image! :toast:

A beautiful image Scott and I agree the lighting is lovely. Interesting pattern on the tree trunk. Do you really need 3 though? Could you not spare me one? In 6 years I have only had a glimpse of one at my feeding station on 2 occasions. I have tried putting out loose peanuts as well as in feeders and home-made fat cake - to no avail. :frown:

A lovely image
Incredible how easily they seem to be able to hold on like this.
Well captured.

I do love woodpeckers, especially those feet, wish I had them at my feeder!
