Sits nicely in the frame Paul and always a lovely bird to see.
Would agree on the colour, but also to me, it looks a tad over sharpe judging on the plumage detail. I also like the BG because of the subtle colours within it rather than the bland solid Dulux range

Works for me, never seen a scruff one :)

Hi all, thanks for the feedback. With regards to the colour, I rarely use any saturation, but this is a young bird, and in my experience they tend to be a little paler in colour. The scruffy appearance also appears more obvious in younger birds. Having said that, perhaps I should try saturation, but doesn't it add noise?

Nice one Paul
This was during the moult but they're in perfect shape now.
Well done.
A nice pose Paul, I'm not fond of the perch, the lighter curve with no bark is tending to dominate for me at least, (perhaps try and stain it a little with tea or coffee, just to tone it down a bit)... still a nice image of a characterful bird.
