Song of the Sirens...In Greek mythology the Sirens were three dangerous bird-women portrayed as seductresses who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island. This "seductive" Siren gives that "come-hither" look to passing photographers hurriedly on their way north on CA Highway 395 to the quickly turning fall colors of the eastern Sierra. This Siren is located along Hwy 395 at the Pearsonville turnoff and she caught our attention, as she has so many other times but we never succumbed to her enchanting music and song in the past.
