About a week ago I came back from Arizona by way of Bosque Del Apache. First time there and I know I was early but, birds were arriving and the colors along the river were an excellent surprise. Posting a sunrise shot with a Sandhill Crane and more images can be viewed at my (finally) website http://www.bobkarcz.zenfolio.com/p892787078. Rod Chandler and Dave Barlett are there now if anyone needs an update on conditions.

Looks like you've focused on some of the grasses in front of the bird, and the bird looks soft. But the color is spectacular!

Incredible color and I like that you kept the shapes dark throughout. Great graphic appeal and the pose of the bird is graceful. Did you get one with the bird in focus?

I think Todd's assessment is accurate Bob....but I also LOVE the color! Can't wait to see more from you.

Very nice image. Colors are spectacular. Birds are also returning to Wilcox, AZ. Of course, there is no comparison to the Bosque.

Your series from here have some excellent shots, including this one.
My favorites are all of the sunrise photos and the bird portraits. Well done!
