Keith, I think it needs a little more separation between the Wagtail and the background. Andrew

Lovely to see a Yellow Wagtail instead of the usual Greys. Agree with Andrew's comments though.

I like it keith; it's my kind of image and I don't have any problem with the proximity of the background. The bird stands out well enough from the bg which places it right there where they live although I must admit I wouldn't choose to have that piece of grass by its head or the two objects on the waterline, but these things are sent to try us. Excellent PoV as well.

It's a fabulous bird Keith, super sharp and the colours are lovely. Perhaps you could fade the background a little - but it's no big deal. :toast:

Don't mind too much the BG, gives you an idea of habitat. Brilliant bird though!

Thanks for looking and comments.Been thinking about the bg do you take the shot when the bird and the pose is right?or give myself a talking to when it flies away after saying this i can see it would look better with the bg more out of focus.
Thanks again Keith.

Take it - you can always throw it away if you don't like it, and your opinion is the one that counts. :wavey: eric
