Some of you have probably seen this - but for others -

an incredible video of lions attacking a baby water buffalo, then an alligator comes up and pulls the other end of the baby... then the other buffalo gang up on the lions - and the baby walks away (although likely dies of it's wounds)

this is unbelievable.... whoa.
wonder how often sg like that happens.... sure never when I would be there.
would be the ultiamte africa-wildlife-photographers dream come true.
croc and lions pulling on the buffalo, one lion horned by a bull, flying in the air - just difficult to get all this into one shot!
thanks for the link - awesome!

This has become a somewhat famous clip, and everyone talks about it down in South Africa. I visited the spot this past August, and naturally there were maybe three impala there and nothing else.

School officials should watch and learn from this video on how to handle bullies in their schools. Call it Operation Waterbuffalo

Yep, this video has been on Youtube for awhile now. I first saw this a year or more back now and was amazed at how the herd got involved and took on the lion pack. No doubt the water-buffalo's had a lot of weight behind their assault.
