Anyone have experience with sellers of resealable plastic bags for placing 11x14 prints (as well as other sizes) in with cardboard backing as stiffener? SEarched internet and found many but thought I would check the forum for any recommendations before moving forward.
Thanks!!

I use Clearbags too. They now offer bags with the adhesive on the bag part and not the flap. It's easier to re-use them this way. I just ordered from them on Tues. and had UPS drive up yesterday afternoon with my order already! Their customer service is wonderful.
Hi Joni - I found a company called Crystal Clear Bags that had all sizes of bags and great customer service too. The website is www.crystalclearbags.com It makes a huge difference having a well packaged product - I'd recommend these guys in a second!
Not to be confused: Crystal Clear Bags is the same company as clearbags.com

Joni,
If you are going to go through the trouble of getting resealable plastic bags to display your prints. Make sure that the backer board is buffered... no acid. Because if left next to the back of the print too long you run the risk of the crap in the backer board bleeding into the print.
Thanks to all of you who provided input about the clear bags. It is so helpful to have others to get prompt advice from. I ordered from them and received them 2 days ago!
Much appreciation!
Where can you purchase the cardboard backings? Is this how most people sell their artwork? Or do you see more people selling their pictures with perhaps white matting?
I am a newbie to all of this and would greatly appreciate any information on when it comes to making my photographs saleable.
I purchased from a local art framing store large sheets of cardboard and then cut them up to fit whatever size I need as backing.
I would only use this for short term such as someone purchases a print and I deliver it to them inside one of the plastic bags with the backing. Not for long term storage--concerned about the affect of it against a print for that long.
Sure others have suggestions.

We get our archival board from Light Impressions. I'm on the road and give you specifics, but it's intended as a stiffener for bagged and stored documents. Comes in a variety of useful sizes. Price seems right and we use lots. I have some prints that have been in the bags with the board for six years now (slow sellers) which show no signs of problems. Not a true test, but I'm taking LI's word that they're archival.
