Autumn Little Owl
A wild little owl captured recently at a friends location.

The late afternoon sun bathed the scene in warm light and the backdrop of autumn trees created this effect.

Big thanks Mark for allowing me access to this fantastic little bird :toast: :toast:

Excellent! My only wish is that the top right corner had more brown in it, but that's very minor. Composition works very well.

A lovely shot Lee. The highlight top right tends to draw the eye a little, but not overly so. Well done! :toast:

Hi Lee,

stunning shot :toast: :toast: :toast:

Love the background except top right hand corner, but that is the way it was when you too the shot. Nowt you can do about that.

Hi Jules, think the post is in the same spot, I just got my camera really low and tried to get as much of the autumn colour background in the frame as possible.
I was sat on the floor of the hide for this one and also cropped my shot slightly at the bottom to remove the green background that was creeping into the frame,
Have got plenty of shots with similar background to yours but tried a few different type of shots at the end of the day trying to get something a bit different.
I'm glad you like it
Cheers,
Lee

Everything works on this image Lee and whats more it all works very harmoniously. For some reason that I'm unable to put into words I really like the inclusion of the rusted barbed wire (similar in a way to the rusted perch in Mark Hancox's KF image). Top right corner is easily remedied. Lovely shot.

Lee, cracking image. Given the set up, I wondered what it would look like without the barb wire? Andrew
