Mono seascape
Taken at Nash Point on the Heritage Coast in South Wales.

There wasn't much of a sunset this particular evening so I turned it into a mono image as a bit of a salvage operation.

Sony A350
Sigma 10-20 EX

f20
ISO 100

Hello Geoff.

Beautiful peice of mono work.

Love the composition.

I love it just the way you have done it, but me being me and I love bold strong pictures I would love to see this with a love more contrast.

Lovely Geoff. Works really well in B & W. I would give up the wildlife photography if I were you

Dull light should never be an excuse for taking a mono B&W shot.

But I think you've pulled it off. The composition of it this makes it for me with the lead in from the nice rocks and the sky. The cherry on the cake for me is the moderately rough sea and the channel of water flowing from the centre to the bottom right.

I would be interested to see this in colour though, with the same monochromatic feel (but not B&W).

Nice!

Another cracker Geoff. The Wales tourist board could use some of your stuff.
