I am working on some Fine Art abstracts. Here is a shot of a macro shot of a poppy patch played with in Photoshop, some blur and other stuff. I am thinking about a large print for Parker Furniture or my gallery show on the coast later this spring maybe a 45"x20" print for high impact on color. Any thoughts?

Elizabeth, I really like this. I am partial to OOF images. There is something about them that is pleasing to my eye. If I was to make a suggestion it would be to break up the large orange grouping of poppies in the upper left of center. What I think draws me into images like this are semi-recognizable shapes. The grouping at the top has merged into something unrecognizable. Maybe try copying some poppies from another area into this group. Best of luck with your show.
Thanks Tom! You will have to try to make it by the exhibit, May 19-June 30, 2006 at Art Wolfe's Photographic Center on 1st Ave in Seattle. I will be there for the grand opening May 18.
I might be able to give you a deal on a print
Thanks Tim, I will take a look at that corner see what I can do to break it up a bit.

I'll stop by and say hi on the 18th. I work about 1/2 a block away from Art's shop :)
I heard he is opening up a digital lab there for classes and such.
