Evening all. Didn't know wheather to upload this or not, so I hope you'll tell me yes or no. This little Robin was very vocal, but for some reason was reluctant to show itself, in all it's glory . This is the one of only 2 shots I got, but this is a little different . All C&C's welcome and appreciated, good or bad. Thanks for you're time,
Regards,
Paul Rosser.

The light is lovely and the eye lovely and sharp but for me Paul I find the oof object to distracting.

I have nothing against the intruding object and the fact that the whole bird is not visible, but feel that it would have worked a lot better if the bird was looking more towards the camera. I think that to work, the bird needs to be looking around it rather then just being hidden behind it. That would provide good reason for having that structure in the image rather than it just being the product of an inconvenience. Just my take on it of course. eric

The head of the bird is great - but I just don't like the distraction in front, I agree with Eric. But then it's different - and certainly worth the post

Top marks for trying something different Paul but on this occasion it hasn't quite worked IMO.
The light was lovely last Saturday and the part of the Robin you've captured here looks great, eye contact might have rescued this one.
Well done.
Geoff.

Honestly, I was going to say I agree with Eric before I read the other comments! Thank you Eric.
