Lots of snow is expected in Yosemite Valley this weekend. From the NWS...

Saturday: Rain and snow. Snow level 4200 feet. Temperature falling to around 30 by 4pm. South southwest wind between 11 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday Night: Snow showers. Low around 25. Breezy, with a south southwest wind between 16 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

Sunday: Snow. High near 25. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 25 to 28 mph decreasing to between 16 and 19 mph. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 9 to 13 inches possible.

If you're headed that way, have fun, get good shots, have your chains, and drive safely!

Are you kidding? 20+ for Thanksgiving, relatives arrive Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. It's time to prepare the house for a thrashing!

Happy Turkey everyone!
