I'm looking at upgrading my my old Windows system to a new Mac system using the Mac Mini with a NEC monitor running CS5 and LR3, but I'm a bit concerned about the performance speed of CS5 on the Mini.
I'm looking at getting the 2.66GHz processor with 8G RAM.
Just wondering if users of this set-up have been happy with the performance of the Mini, particularly with processing large RAW and PSD files.
Many thanks,
David.

I'm running a 2.66Hz MacBook Pro with 8GB RAM with an Intel SSD hard drive and it runs fine. I would think your set-up would be somewhat similar. The 8GB RAM is the key here. What HD are you using?

Thanks for your feedback, Kah. I would get it with a SSD, but the option is not currently available for the Mini on the Mac site. I'll contact Mac Doctors to see if they can upgrade it with this faster drive.
