Long Lake Sunset
I haven't posted or responded in a long time. So long that my membership lapsed! Anyway, here a couple photos from the Brainard Lake Recreation Area from way back in early October.

That first one is really nice, Joe! You set up the comp really well keeping the foreground rocks out of the lines of the reflection. That sky color is great. I might experiment with cropping just a little sky off the top, it feels a bit too open and my eye keeps getting stuck up there.

Really like the first one. More of the reflection. Nice subtle colors as well.

Welcome back, Joe.
Having more of the reflection in the foreground makes such a huge difference in these two compositions. It demonstrates well the benefits of moving even just a little distance.

Welcome back.

I like the first one. I think the reflection might be on a slight tilt.

I really like the first one, Joe. The sky and reflection are really nice. I'd be tempted to bump the saturation up just a little.

Much prefer the first one, wondering what it would look like with the sat and contrast bumped up just a hair.

Another vote for the first one. Nice work!
