B&W Bird Pano
Hi all:wavey:

One of a series that I am doing of black and white nature panoramics, (intended to be seen at 16x 7 inch.

Must admit I am halfway through this project and not to sure if i am liking it, what do others think? All comments and opinions welcome.

Thanks for looking

Others will not agree no doubt

Hi Shaun

looks OK to me but I agree with John it looks a bit tight top and bottom.

Does seem a little squashed, I would prefer to see colour but thats just my preference. I do applaud you for trying something different though and black and white does work with some birds maybe not this one

Looks like good detail in the bird Shaun but I agree with Karen I would prefer to see a colour version. Also agree it needs a bit more room top and bottom. :wavey:

Your last shot of this type was a squirrel (well part of one) and I think this worked better than this shot. I think it has something to do with the detail in the subject in relation with the right monochrome conversion. I'm guessing birds with good feather detail would stand out in such a conversion??
