I've done this one in black and white and color. I've tried the vignette part of photoshop and wondering if it's enough or too much. Also if things are too contrasty. Thanks for looking.

Too colorful?

One more time...this one is a little brighter I hope.

Cynthia, I've gotta admit that this one's just not doing a whole lot for me in b/w or color.
I like the color version a lot better - there's just too much medium gray foreground in the b/w versions. But I think I'm having trouble finding a focal point or subject even with the color version. My eye keeps jumping around between the mountain, the sunburst, and the reflected water to the right, not being able to decide what focus on. It's almost as if there are three discrete ideas going on here, but nothing to really unify them into one coherent image. Or at least that's my 2 cents - but photography is so darn subjective.
I am sure most of us have hundreds or thousands of images like that - they almost work, but not quite - I know I do! I bet this was an awesome scene to witness.

I pretty much agree with what Erik wrote. It's like there are three scenes there, the overall image is just too spread out and I don't feel that the foreground is adding much. If you cropped maybe a quarter off of the bottom, it would make the mountain a stronger part of the image, but it obviously makes the panorama that much narrower. I also like the color version a little better because of the sky.
Like Erik, I also have a boatload of photos that just don't quite make it, even after putting a lot of work into them.

I think it's the best photo, EVER!!
Ok...im joking, but i definitely think it's a keeper. Just hard to critique at the small size, but i think i prefer the B&W. Id personally do w/o the vignette, but i dont think it necessarily hurts the shot. Thye onlty troublesome part for me is the sun, probably not much you can do there but maybe soften the contrast/transition a bit(?) Anyhow, cool shot! Happy Thanksgiving-

I like the color version myself, I bet these would be much better presented a bit larger

I completely agree with Jeremy about this being better at a larger size. Panos are just that way. I prefer the color version as compared to the B&Ws.
