Hi All
Thought I would post this taken a few weeks ago before the weather started to change, taken at Woburn towards the end of the rut. I have once again been experimenting with my processing techniques so as always all comments welcome,

Many thanks for looking

It seems to have a slight sepia, overly warm look about it Shaun, to me anyway. The comp is quite nice but perhaps a bit tight in the frame and a shame then foal's head is OOF.

Shocking so many views and no comments The image has a lot going on Shaun, the foreground Deer does the image no favours as its OOF and not sharp. I love the slide lighting and the eating pose,a head on shot would have made the image for me, by just moving around to the right slowly and watching them.

There's a lot to like here Shaun, but I think it just misses the spot. The things that take the edge off for me are the shaded eye, the dark tree cutting the deers nose, and most of all, the Oof fawn. In fact if this was mine I would have thought I was too close. Stepping back and to the right (as Craig has suggested) might have given you a sharper fawn, better light on the face and a better background. the difference between a great image and one that just misses the mark can be inches or thousandths of a second - I should know, I have hundreds of shots that nearly came off.

Many thanks for the comments as I said I ahve been playing about with different processing methods and was interested on what people thought of this element ofit. i do find this forum a bit strange at th moment vry few people seem keen on giving constructive critisicm, surely thats the only way we get better. Seems to be alot of viewing and not a lot of critiquing!

Like the dappled light and the highlighted grass heads. Better focus and head turn of younster would have improved the image as suggested. Has a nice intimacy about it and subjects look relaxed.
