First, I'd like to thank the folks at "Local Flair" magazine, a big, beautiful Poconos-based arts and fine living publication for including my image Crossing Over in their most recent issue (photo below). This is the second time my work has appeared there. http://issuu.com/localflair/docs/decjan10_11
Secondly, I'm happy to announce that I will be part of a three-photographer exhibit during Scranton, PA's first "First Friday" of 2011 on January 7th at the Artists for Art (AFA) Gallery on the city's Lackawanna Avenue. I'll have up to 15 images up... and while I've been in a few national, state and big regional shows, this one attracts many, many people to the arts in our area and is great exposure for my work. Once again, lesson learned--persistence pays off. Thaks for the forum!

As for the show, I don't think this will ever have the value of an early Beatles poster (unless due to the fame of the other two photogs in it!), but... just looked nice so I thought I'd put it up.

Very cool and a big Congrats Bill. Good luck at your showing and hopefully it will lead to many new contacts.

Thank you Doug, yes I hope so. Meanwhile I'm finding out just how difficult it is to select 15 images, and then have them all printed and framed. Hope there are buyers too!

Well, all is ready for the show that opens on Friday night. 17 new pieces ready!!!!!! Ouch. Being delivered tomorrow for the "hanging committee" to do their job Wednesday night. The studio/printer/framer and I worked hard. I can't even believe some of this stuff is mine--going to look great at least. "The Apparition" is printed BIG on canvas, with a great old-looking wooden frame to go with the treeline. So many others... can't wait!! Sorry, not boasting, it's a big deal for me. Color galore!
