Hi,

As we haven't had the forecast heavy snow here in the south East and the garden birds seem to have temporarily deserted us I decided to have a play with a few of the frost covered leaves in the garden...

Had to compress this a lot.... will be breaking out the ultra close up lens tomorrow if we have the same....

An effective close-up Phil. Quite a contrast between the warm tones of the leaf and the crystals of ice.

I like this Phil. Sometimes the simple things are best. Agree with Justin the contrast of autumnal colour and the ice crystals work really well. :wavey:

Have you not told JR your hide is heated

The frosty bits almost looks like salt crystals - it's very interesting image, which I have enjoyed looking at for longer than I usually spend on one :toast:

I used a 20mm extension tub on my 70-200 on some fungi a few weeks back - it worked really well for close-ups.
