One from last weekend and one of my first outings with the camera since having the tendons repaired in my hand. It's great to be back out and about again. Unfortunately I can't press the shutter with either of my first two fingers, so it's a good job I've got a couple of spares . I always knew the ring finger would come in useful for something .
Anyway, despite very heavy and continuous rain, I spent a wonderful hour with this doe and her fawn. I spent the majority of the time filming them, but took a handful of still images as well. This particular one was after the rain had stopped and the sun had made an effort to break through the clouds.

Great stuff Justin.Wonderful heather coulours too.
I,m going to be really picky now. That little dark area in front of the nose grabs my eye every time. Wish I hadn't noticed it.
Still a lovely shot though.

Really nice, love the colours and the light. great pose.
What a beautiful setting. Lovely detail in the deer. Can imagine you spent a happy hour there. I wonder if just a little off the bottom? I mean of the image not the deer
I'd also take a little off the bottom and add a bit to the top, if I could. But it's lovely and the large version is beautiful - so much colour, detail and texture, very nice indeed
