First chance to properly try out the new lens today - it is stunning. Here is one of my first efforts. This would come within a foot of me when I was lting on the ground and even sat on my tripod!
Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400
Handheld (resting on the ground)
F4
1/400s
ISO 500

Hi Oscar,
really happy you got the lens sorted and the results speak for its self.
Lovely shot and excellent low point of view ( Shame you have no snow )

The second post is an improvement, but the shot already had a lot going for it with the low pov and well-controlled dof. I look forward to seeing more with that new lens.
