Juvenile Great Tit
A juvenile Great Tit taken in the rain from a home-made hide out in my yard.

The sides of the head are a yellowy colour and turn to pure white when they become adults.

A lovely image Geoff. Colours are great. Love the perch and BG is superb. Have you cloned something though just to the right of the bottom berry? There seems to be a dark patch. :wavey:

Very nice indeed Geoffrey! A super alert pose, the raindrops on the bird and colour in the berries make this for me.

Lovely image, like the pose, detail and theatmosphere of the rain :toast: :toast:

Maggie, that dark patch could be a clump of gorse bushes on the distant mountain, looks like there's a raindrop falling in front of part of it so if I did clone in that area that wouldn't be showing.
At f8, some background details show up.

This was processed a few years ago for another website and recently just resized for here.

Realy good like the composition and lighting in this one. Feet look massive. All my comments re colour should be taken lightly, but I wondered if there was just a hint of green present in the crown of the bird. :toast:

A fine image Geoff. The water droplets, and colour add so much here!
