Very pleased with the D7000 so far. Was quite happy with the D300 but decided to sell before depreciation really kicked in. Didn't actually expect to find focus and exposure so much improved in the D7000 and I find it just as good in terms of handling and build quality. I would recommend it.

Impressed with lackof noise for ISO 1000 my D300 is struggling by then, infact it sruggles at 800, nice shot good detail, works very well filling the frame :toast: :toast: :toast:

Nice bright shot. More space on the right would improve it but others may not agree.

Lovely portrait. The snow on the beak is a very nice bonus. Agree with John though about some more space on the right. :wavey:

John. It is actually a piece of grass that I should have cloned out but hadn't noticed because I had been focussing on cloning out a very obvious stick just above he bird's head. Thanks for spotting it
