Don't know how long this feature has been around but I've never noticed it before. Apparently whenever a post or a post comment has been edited there is now a notification under the post title or the comment header that an edit has been made and it discloses who made the edit and the date and time it was done.
I think this is a wonderful idea for a variety of reasons. Thank you for "dinking" again Jim!
Hope I don't have to edit this but if I do you'll know...

Dang. Now everyone will know that not only can I not spell or type but that I also don't proof read until after I post.

Made me laugh Bruce. I'm the same way and typically do much of my proofreading immediately after posting. But that won't bother me because of the time stamp - it should be obvious that it was something like a proofreading edit when it's done right after the post or comment.

I might as well put "this post was edited, probably two or three times" in my signature, lol! I always proof after posting because it's easier in the formatted block, plus I can see if my URL links, etc were done correctly. I'm doomed.

I was waiting to see how long this change would take to be noticed!
As always, it was made based on member suggestions - as are all the worthy updates to the site. Thanks again to all for your feedback!
Edit - we placed this new feature online early last week.

I think this was a great idea for many reasons. I'll learn to be more careful typing, in the winter my hands do not always work well and when I make a typo now people will know
