Was wondering if anyone here has tried TopazLabs InFocus yet? If you have, what kind of results are your getting?

I've downloaded the trial version and I can't seem to get the type of results they show in the examples. If I get an image looking sharp, the artifacts are killer.

I've also tried the free trial and got very good results with several images that had been in my delete file. I keep anytghing with promise, hoping some future software might be useful with it..

As with most things, it takes a bit of practice. Best results with things with letters, I'm finding, so far.

I was wondering the same thing. I haven't had much luck saving nature shots, due to the artifacts introduced. One image I tried did become usable for small prints with a selective application of Noise Ninja after Topaz InFocus.

With some tweaking, I was able to save a portrait shot of 2 kids and their grandfather that was just slightly out of focus. I had to work to not introduced to many artifacts though.

The only thing I can offer here is that Topaz really works to improve their products and generally do so very quickly. I have their bundle and in the last year, the earlier versions of some of their products have gone thru several revisions. Each revision has resulted in improved user control and refinement. I have InFocus and have yet to benefit from it but expect Topaz will have made significant improvements before too long. The upgrades have been free.
