Here is an image from earlier the same day as my last post. At this point the clouds were coming in and I knew cool things were going to happen. I just had to figure out where to be when they did! That's the real trick, isn't it! I must have stopped and scouted six or seven equally cool viewpoints, including this one.

Wista 45DX
Fuji Velvia 100

Not bad for a Brent, I think I would clone out the road though......just giving you a hard time as always.

Looks good.

The road works for me.

Excellent composition! Just about a perfect autumn image, too.

Beautiful Image, I'd love to be there now.

Yowza - you caught some phenomenal conditions here, Brent. I love it. The road doesn't bother me in the least. Good work, my friend!

Well, your timing is OK, I guess. If you just had a little more patience you probably could have tripped the shutter when the double-rainbow and the bald eagle were present too.

This really captures the essence of autumn in Colorado. A truly terrific shot.

I miss Fall already...so short. Love the image. Brett, would love to shoot with you some day! It seems every year I see your fall stuff and realize we were not too far off from one another.

Classic Colorado fall! Beautiful image, Brent. I don't mind the road, either.

You captured some wonderful light giving some beautiful depth to the comp! Nice!

Very nice Brent. Worth printing large to enjoy all those details in the trees.

Great color in the foreground and I like those dark clouds.

Nice light in this one, Brent. I also like the half blue - half yellow look of this. Good to see those pretty clouds over Wilson too, as every time I wanted to shoot it this year there were nothing but clear blue skies!

Beautiful image.

Thanks everyone!

Jody, actually, I cloned that road IN this shot! No pleasing you though!

Caz, the double-rainbow and the bald eagle clashed with the fall colors, had to get rid of them!

Kane, no doubt! We'll meet one of these days! How many years and websites have been "met" on? You need to come to the Shindig in February!!!
