Very cool composition. Would love to see a sunrise shot of the same comp! Is this the tooth that the Beartooth Mts are named for?

Lots of nice elements through this one Jeremy.

Beautiful light, seriously rugged mountains and clear, flowing water - what's not to like here? Love it! I'd be interested in a bit of location info, too. Looks like my kind of place.

Excellent image. Love the colors. Must have been fun back when to name these peaks.

Scott and Don--i didnt want to wait for an answer, since Google generally provides one in less than 1 second--it is indeed Beartooth Mountain! Anyone up for a Winter Expedition??
Posted by Dan Walters on December 1, 2010 at 10:40 AM
Thanks for the compliments, I've taken quite a few trips here but never in the winter yet, (avalanche danger getting up the slope to here is pretty high) but would love to here soon. Early winter would probably be best but I missed my window this year. You can see the tooth from high up on the pass, but its kinda a pain to actually get to it. Still haven't climbed the tooth yet either, hopefully this next summer. And yeah Stan got it right.

Absolutely beautiful, and flawlessly 'developed'. Makes me feel like I'm right there.
Another beauty, Jeremy! Intense without being at all over-the-top. You've got some amazing work from that area. These shots with running water on what looks like a mountain summit always trip me out a little (a know it's an illusion, but still).
